I should've never written this email. The next day, my wife's iPhone 4S start 
shut off with 25% showing, but could be brought up after plugging it in and run 
down manually after force restarting. 

In short iOS 7.1 is better than previous iOS 7.0.x. If you avoid FaceTime, it 
is fine, but if you do, iOS 7.1 does not fix the random shut-off problems on 
either of our iPhone 4s's induced by FaceTime.
