You never know if this will interest anyone so out the door it goes just in case.
Our Jonathan has brought me into the FileMaker world, swimming in waters I am not sure I belong but will keep listening to those in the know. To do that the first meeting I recorded the meeting in Audio. I realized that I needed video but I also wanted to keep an audio of the meeting. The video size of over 50 gb was not a problem to import into FinalCut to then export for the iPad, worked beautifully with the exception for the next meeting I would need to change the placement of the camera. The audio was a different matter. They are recorded on a Sony recorder that will pick up the crunching of lettuce across the room, a great recorder but at the end of the day I had two large WAV files. One at 2.15 gig, the other at 603 meg. I tried merging them in Garageband, nope, way too large. Tried Apple's pro. audio software called Logic Pro, nope to large. I found this little program called Boilsoft Video Joiner for Mac that will combine video and audio files into one, I downloaded a demo version. I put both the WAV files in and told it to merge. The output was very fast and is in MP4, much inferior to WAV but for what I need on this project it sounds fantastic and the size is now 85 meg so I'll be able to put into Garageband and tweak the way I want it to sound. Just by chance anyone would need such a product here is the link.
