Some alarming news from Cupertino. We are seeing news reports that Apple, Inc, is stopping construction on its new "flying saucer" style headquarters building in Cupertino and will move instead from the famous One Infinity Loop address to Limerick in the Irish Republic. The move is seen as an effort to use more effectively hundreds of billions in profits, partly converted to gold bullion, kept in a special vault deep underground there.
Earlier reports, now discounted, indicated that Apple might move to Cork in the Irish Republic but the Board of Directors was concerned about the very short distance between the towns of Cork and nearby town of Blarney.
