With in the last two weeks the WiFi on my Uverse black box started slowing
down. It would take forever to load a page, especially one with a lot of
graphics.

I shut the computers down, turned off the Uverse box, waited 5 minutes, started
up the Uverse box, then my computers. WiFi was still slow.

Last night it quit working altogether. I couldn't connect any of my WiFi
devices (iphone, iPad, laptop, my wife’s kindle) to my home network via WiFi.

My wife’s PC is connected via ethernet cable and it was working just fine. Next
I connected my Mac to the network via ethernet and I could surf the internet
without any slow down in speed, in fact I forgot how quickly it loads a page.

It was late so I figured I would wait until this morning and call ATT, I
assumed the WiFi transmitter on my box was broken, worn out as it were.

Lo & behold, this morning my WiFi worked. all the devices connected and worked
as expected. It was magically resurrected (pun intended). Any idea what would
cause the WiFi to die out and then come back?

Do I have a long term problem? Should I contact ATT anyway?

Thanks for all your help.

Harry
