I think that means not to show all the addresses to you within mail, just the 
name of the group. This is just a cosmetic thing in mail. When the message is 
sent, all the addresses are filled in.

To send a group mail without all the addresses shown to all the receivers, use 
the Bcc: field instead of the To: field.
