These are bitmap (bmp) files containing icons for certain file types. It looks 
like they're part of the bundle for the xScan program so various graphic files 
can be given recognizable icon types. If they are indeed corrupt, I'd reinstall 
xScan instead of nuking part of the program.

On the other hand, they might be just fine. The error message tells you the 
file format is unknown. xScan might have a proprietary format for its bitmap 
files and TechTool doesn't recognize it. If xScan works as expected, I'd not 
touch the files.
