I'm having a similar problem. Although I know Apple TV works with AirPlay with
my 2nd generation iPad. I just don't know how I managed to get it to work. I
set it up and it worked. Then I haven't used it enough to figure out how to get
it to work. One night while looking at something on my iPad I clicked on
something on something and unfortunately switched the TV to show my iPad. My
husband was watching TV. While he was upset, I was lucky he wasn't watching a
UK basketball game.
