I just had a customer caught in the "windows company" snare.
And they have not been the only one.

They call you and tell you your computer is generating a lot of "hits" on the
internet and need to log in. They remote in and control the computer showing
the "customer" the log files with issues. They are charged about $350 on their
credit card for Google chrome(free), Ccleaner (free unlicensed) and malware
bytes (free unlicensed).

Ugh what a scam.

Microsoft, Apple, does not care if your computer has every piece of spyware
ever made on it. They will not call you.

If anyone ever calls you they want to scam you.
