On each computer I set up a second user, I always name it “Lockup”. This user
has NO access to anything, it’s only there to protect unwanted use of the
computer.

Updates for Adobe, Java and other software are all managed from my account….BUT
many mornings when I return to the “Lockup” user there is a dialogue saying,
for example, “You do not have permission to update Java”.

Java has already been updated from my administrator account, SO is this just
nuisance or does EACH user have to update these files as well as the
Administrator account?

Thanks a bunch,

Curious John
