Esoterica for the day… I find it really interesting that that photo Apple uses for the “El Capitan” update in the App Store does not even show El Capitan.
It shows Half Dome and other rocky features of Yosemite Valley, but El Capitan itself is not visible. It would be somewhere behind the cliffs on the left. Feels kinda of weird since at least SOMEone at Apple must have been there at least once in their life--it’s only a couple hundred miles away from Cupertino. Evidently no one on the team that chose that photo, though.
