Draining the bank with Apple Pay, so much enjoyment paying with a Watch and looking at the people around you…they realize there is a weird person going through the line…. But what about ONLINE, I haven’t been able to use Apple Pay with an online vendor…until last night….and of all places? I had called them twice asking for them to accept Apple Pay. I had written twice, and all replies were they didn’t have intentions of moving that direction…well shucks….. Then, an email, a notice that if you downloaded their App you could use Apple Pay for your bills, be it the Credit Card or paying on your accounts…. Who is this place that was not interested? A large company? Listening to their customers request? STATE FARM, of all places, my employer. So, I set up my bank with them online, and immediately went to the State Farm App….AND NOW I can logon to my account using the fingerprint authentication….SO MUCH easier than remembering and typing my logon and password. Once into my account all the policies are listed and the bills…pick the bill you wish to pay. Click or type in the amount you wish to pay and hit the Apple logo at the bottom which says “Apple Pay”… Then it ask for my fingerprint and immediately the bill is paid…. I may be several decades into my allotted time but I still find this technology fascinating and so much easier to use….within seconds State Farm sent an email confirming my payment so now I have a record to attach to the file…. I guess it was a Valentines gift…… John Apple Pay Coming Soon to Crate & Barrel, Chick-fil-A and Au Bon Pai Thursday February 4, 2016 4:18 am PST by Tim Hardwick <http://www.macrumors.com/author/tim-hardwick/> Apple Pay is now available at more than 2 million retail locations, with merchants such as Crate & Barrel, Chick-fil-A and Au Bon Pain set to accept the system in stores imminently, reports The Business Times <http://www.businesstimes.com.sg/technology/apple-pay-locations-reach-2m-with-chick-fil-a-to-come>.
