With the release of the latest OS and iOS it was stated we could send very 
large emails, if we were going from one iCloud to another…

Tonight I needed to get a FileMaker file from the Mac to the iPad for a 
FileMaker database.

I downloaded FileMaker Go (the free version of FileMaker for iPad and iPhone).  
I then sent an 84.3 MEG file from the Mac to myself….

Good grief it worked…Apple splits the download into sections and then 
“stitches” them back together when downloaded….that is SO COOL…I had to try it 
to see if it worked as advertised.

Most ISP’s will max out at 10 to 20 meg, I don’t know many that will handle a 
file this large….can come in handy if the person on the other end doesn’t use 
DropBox, Hightail or some other large file exchange firm.
