Anyone out there know anything about MiFi routers (devices that allow computers
to connect to the internet through cellular phone service)? Specifically, if
one uses AT&T as the cellular carrier, does the MiFi use that same account for
its cellular service, or does one have to create a new account? And what kind
of range does a typical MiFi have?

The situation I’m looking at is one where there is no electricity or wifi
readily available, but there is cell service. I want to be able to have three
laptops nearby with internet connectivity. I believe there are battery-operated
MiFi routers that would allow that. But I’ve never used one and know little
about them, so I’m looking for guidance.

Thanks.
