First off is the person a graphic artist?
I doubt it. An have they ever used windows 10.
Microsoft has gone all in on this touch based version of there standard
software.

There is nothing innovative really in the new surface studio computer. Wacom
has had a video table available for years now. I would be interested to see how
long the surface will last with people leaning down on it for hours every day.
Apple is moving towards a tablet future but with a new software made for touch
instead of tacking it on their old MAC OS.

Painting Microsoft as brave is so funny they are trying to keep window
relevant. The vast majority of the average computer users of the past are gone
now. The average user has no need for a PC any more. Just ask people non geeks
what the use to access the internet. It's a smart phone they are not buying
computers any more. They amount of non business purchases has been going down
and will only increase in the coming years.

Try moving you customer to Linux a platform for someone who enjoy's messing
with computers. Would be good if you wish to create a customer who is needs
you to install and maintain their computer.

I have friends at Apple and have heard from them that they have already built a
mac just like the surface studio 7 years ago. They found it to be awkward to
use and was not ergonomic enough to make.
What looks cool sometimes isn't cool or practical
I see this features for coolness in the tech sector as a sign of desperation.
Let's throw out this feature and see if it works. Nothing to stop them because
the do not have a future timeline that extends past the next 90 day fiscal
cycle.
