Apple introduced a brand-new completely bug-filled PDFKit for rendering PDFs, so using Skim or Preview (or anything else built over PDFKit) to annotate PDF files has become between painful and unusable. Of course, given Apple's track record at fixing bugs on anything not advertising-worthy, these new bugs could be around for years. Bill
