Thanks, When I click on the file I’m looking (highlight it) and hold down the command key, the pathway shows up at the bottom of the Spotlight window. Not all of the pathway but just the last part that will fit and the window doesn’t seem to enlarge.
I finally found the file and have moved it to amore sensible (?) place.
