Today I had the first opportunity to use ApplePay from Safari on an iPhone.

So cool. Johnathan Fletcher is needing a video of a presentation at our
FileMaker’s user group. My camera will do a good job but it uses SDHC Memory
cards…the one I had broke so what’s the big deal about ordering a new one?
Simple.

The first card from Amazon wouldn’t work, said it wouldn’t record in two
different modes. I wrote to Panasonic and received great service from one of
their tech folks.

I ordered the card he suggested…it came yesterday and again wouldn’t record…

I wrote to him this morning asking for a link to a card that would work.

He sent me to B&H, one of the best camera stores around.

The Panasonic rep thought that possibly the 8 yr. old camera could not keep up
with the speed of the newer cards so when I checked out using the iPhone there
was an “APPLEPAY” symbol…..well I’ll be.

I clicked on it, used the fingerprint authentication and that was it…DONE. I
didn’t have to give them anything else, my address and other info, to mail the
package was filled in by Apple. Emails arrived from B&H thanking me and the
order number.

Folks, this is the way to shop. If B&H is hacked there is nothing they will
get from my purchase and the ease was like nothing I have experienced online.

If this card doesn’t work I’ll make a necklace from all the dross...

John
