To get rid of them unsubscribe from any emails that you can. Then after a
month just stop logging on to them. I got a virus on my Bellsouth
account/Yahoo account and the virus wasn't even on my computer it was on
Yahoo's server. It redirected all email on the account to a Hotmail account.
Trying to crack into any important email's that came to that account. I use
google and apple email addresses now.

Thanks.

I was using Excite, Juno, and Yahoo for short periods. I have email accounts
which I no longer use but don't know how do get rid of the accounts so I check
them once a month to delete all the span and junk emails.

And who knows what I get when using them.

Will the fan go off on it's own after awhile? Is there any way to turn it off
after it's been on a while and I am off those pages mentioned above?

Thanks for the info.

Yes, there's a fan in there. Most likely you had something open that was making
the graphics card work harder than usual, like a web page running a bunch of
Flash ads or some such. Or the room you were in was warmer than usual. A hacker
wouldn't have any interest in turning your computer fan on.

I was using my MacBook Air (away from my trusted home network and on an
unsecured wifi) when the fan started to spin really fast and really loud (is
there even a fan in my computer?) I forced the computer to shut down by holding
the powerkey down till it shut off then started it up again.

What gives?

Thanks.
