Hi all,

The iOS 10.3.1 update was been quirky for me: multiple times through the loop of

1. Clicking Update
2. Using touch id to enter my passcode
Getting the error 'There was a problem downloading the software for the
iPhone "...". An unknown error occurred (4037)'
This error occurred both before and after the software had been downloaded
3. Clicking OK
4. Clicking the update button again,
Now the update/extraction would work fine.
5. Waiting for the backup to finish
6. Using touch id to enter my passcode
7. Getting the error 'The iPhone "..." could not be updated because an unknown
error occurred (4003)'

Finally, one time after entering my actual pita passcode at step 6., the backup
allowed the phone to updated.

Your mileage may vary, but it might help wait a day for Apple to fix its fix to
iOS 10.3.

P.S. I get this feeling that with Apple, we're seeing the long-term effects of
having an accountant (or any kind of financial person) run a company instead of
having someone who understands the actual products run a company: A general
demise into mediocrity and marketing over innovation and utility.
