At Midnight The Carriage becomes a Pumpkin….

Cinderella had a problem, time was running up against her….the clock began to
strike…..

For the second time on Thursday morning when I took the Apple Watch off the
charger the back came off, held only by the thin fiber ribbon that attaches the
four sensors that measure activity and body condition….

Dang, twice….I know it’s because of the Sun Screen, I try to not get any around
the area of the watch but it does happen and over time the oil weakens the
seal….

I immediately went on line and scheduled an appointment at the Genius bar for
12:30 Thursday.

I arrived at 12:00, the place was packed, 5 people ahead of me just to tell
them I was there. I received my rep. about 12:35. She began setting up the
repair…it would have to be shipped off and returned between 8 to 10
days…bummer, I can’t get along for ten days! That’s inhumane..

However since I had purchased Apple Care I could choose door 2, which they call
Extra Care…this option would mean the rep. I was working with would pass off
my account to a rep. in never never land, they would call me within a couple
minutes and handle the repair from that point on…

Extra Care will ship me a watch and then I return my watch, all shipping is on
Apple…all the representatives were American, spoke better English than I. The
phone rang within 10 seconds, we stepped through the procedure, I left the
store at 1:30….

Today at 2:00 p.m. I had the new Apple Watch in hand….Cinderella did not have
to carry home her pumpkin…

This company is amazing, simply giving the Apple Consumer service that is
unmatched….

On, by the way, the lady in front of me to register for her appointment ask the
scheduler if the store is like this all the time….he replied he had been there
11 years and it’s like this every day….

With experiences we all have had with other companies there is no wonder
Apple’s fan base….. 98% say they will stick with Apple…once you’ve lived the
dream you don’t want to give it up.

I had to tell the story, next time it’s Jack and the Beanstalk.
