Same thing William, I live in Indiana, someone has wired our street with Fiber, the installers would not tell me who was doing it, so to check if Google is doing Southern Indiana I tried completing the Google eligibility and it simply sits there and does nothing….I guess for now that means I can’t get it….if in fact the line was Google, I can’t imagine it being Verizon, which is suppose to be wiring cities with fiber, I doubt it’s Sepctrum which I have read they are using only coax, so maybe it’s AT&T…but their fiber is much slower than Google…I had a call from an AT&T Rep this week saying my office was eligible for fiber with a massive speed of 50 meg downs….vs the 25 I have now with U-Verse, and a reduction in my cost….if this is the best they can do with Fiber, why bother.
