Graphic Converter has forever been the Mac standard for this kind of stuff. Preview does batch conversions, but maybe not the resizing you need.. GIMP will do this sort of thing. The learning curve is steep because it’s a lot like Photoshop—but free. I do this type of thing with ImageMagick.
