The problem with searching Time Machine (or iCloud) for the file itself is that she didn’t save the file at any time during the day. I can find it easily on Time Machine, but it’s the version that was saved yesterday afternoon. Which is why I’m hoping that there might be some remnant of an autorecover file somewhere.
