Thanks Jonathan, I also spread the Christian Message when I can…sometimes I
think I’m hitting my head on a brick wall…there’s been a few times in my life
I’ve made a difference for folks, a great guy, my field Commercial Underwriter,
his wife was dying, I ask him where she was going?

We had lots of discussions, his father was a doctor and didn’t believe a word
of this fabled weak minded Christian crutch….…He felt the same…..I continued to
talk…went to his wife’s funeral..

Then years later I was at a PromiseKeeper’s gathering in Indianapolis, 60,000
or so were there…I was walking around the stadium and out of one of the
concourses stepped Eric…now, what are the odds!!!

I ask him what in the world was he doing there, due to myself and another State
Farm agent in Seymour he had given his life to The Lord…LOVED it..

One day a very LOST cousin who had spent a lot of time listening to me called
as he drove into a auto dealership, saying “I know what you’ve been talking
about”, and he’s held true every since.

Several others have done the same, but it’s not a huge lot, and maybe some have
given their life and not mentioned it…

I’ve worked on many others that give me the bird and I never hear form
them…funny, just last night at Cracker Barrel I started reminding Terry of the
UNBELIEVABLE happenings in our life, she sat there with ears wide open,
listening intently….she had forgotten many and it was as if she was living it
for the first time…I tell you it’s been an amazing and unbelievable story…so,
when someone gives me grief about The Lord they have a struggle on their hands.

The girl I went with for two years in High School, we were going to get
married, God had other ideas and with that famous hook of His I was sent to
Terry, but I’ve always felt an obligation to Judy so a couple years ago I
called her, it was a rough conversation but I wanted her to know what Christ
could do in a person’s life, after all she knew me when I was worse than a pile
of dung,..I had to at least let her know and see where she stood.

The conversation didn’t go well, she wanted nothing to do with Christianity,
she threatened me not to speak to her son or her mother…I gave her many
examples of Christ in my life, it didn’t make a dent…I have an open page on FB,
Terry post lots of Christian words of wisdom and encouragement, hopefully she
and many others will have their hearts softened...

We do what we can don’t we….

John
