Thanks to Harry and Pen for replying. Well... since it was a work computer and since I decided I don't really want to lug yet another thing in my bag when I travel, I got permission to get a new computer (probably 2 weeks before Apple announces another one).
Luckily, there was a refurb which matched what I wanted, so I could save a bit of money (~$400!). I just hope I don't destroy the new-style keyboard, because I think I still type like I'm using a manual typewriter. Thanks for the input, though. Cheers, Bill
