Thanks. I did read them, but none of those links seem to be specific enough to enable blocking only the unwanted cookies that are showing up.
Any specific references towards the third-party items you/they have mentioned? I might have expected a checkbox in the accumulated cookie list to either “never save” or “never delete” a specific cookie. -russ > On May 7, 2018, at 11:42 PM, Jonathan Fletcher <[email protected]> wrote: > > Russ, I found this in an Apple forum: > >> Safari automatically checks certain sites for updates: >> >> Top Sites >> https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__support.apple.com_kb_PH21460&d=DwIFAg&c=OAG1LQNACBDguGvBeNj18Swhr9TMTjS-x4O_KuapPgY&r=F2GFXrjLFqVo3VwvIlo_XYeEiRRjHv15rxcenz7A21woG2aFGcrzndoSsskxfmOs&m=ETHke1xnu-MilQDXPwpgTNFOqktoXhzUzEvYSt9q0jI&s=968SEt9uac1IOMD17RxGG7IByJZZYKtDT4jJQs_h8Y8&e= >> >> Subscribed feeds >> https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__support.apple.com_kb_PH21481&d=DwIFAg&c=OAG1LQNACBDguGvBeNj18Swhr9TMTjS-x4O_KuapPgY&r=F2GFXrjLFqVo3VwvIlo_XYeEiRRjHv15rxcenz7A21woG2aFGcrzndoSsskxfmOs&m=ETHke1xnu-MilQDXPwpgTNFOqktoXhzUzEvYSt9q0jI&s=At9ntmsDjyTZrWQFN9CIsLrZeN9aiLyUeC5_9839Haw&e= >> >> Sites that you've selected for Quick Website Search >> https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__support.apple.com_kb_PH21448&d=DwIFAg&c=OAG1LQNACBDguGvBeNj18Swhr9TMTjS-x4O_KuapPgY&r=F2GFXrjLFqVo3VwvIlo_XYeEiRRjHv15rxcenz7A21woG2aFGcrzndoSsskxfmOs&m=ETHke1xnu-MilQDXPwpgTNFOqktoXhzUzEvYSt9q0jI&s=YyZTndBSZgWE0tmMavsQYl3ToiQia3HpOVtcyvvSuaU&e= >> >> Pages that turn up as Top Search Hits >> https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__support.apple.com_kb_PH21448&d=DwIFAg&c=OAG1LQNACBDguGvBeNj18Swhr9TMTjS-x4O_KuapPgY&r=F2GFXrjLFqVo3VwvIlo_XYeEiRRjHv15rxcenz7A21woG2aFGcrzndoSsskxfmOs&m=ETHke1xnu-MilQDXPwpgTNFOqktoXhzUzEvYSt9q0jI&s=YyZTndBSZgWE0tmMavsQYl3ToiQia3HpOVtcyvvSuaU&e= >> >> Pinned tabs >> https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__support.apple.com_kb_PH21462&d=DwIFAg&c=OAG1LQNACBDguGvBeNj18Swhr9TMTjS-x4O_KuapPgY&r=F2GFXrjLFqVo3VwvIlo_XYeEiRRjHv15rxcenz7A21woG2aFGcrzndoSsskxfmOs&m=ETHke1xnu-MilQDXPwpgTNFOqktoXhzUzEvYSt9q0jI&s=_dvtg4T_II_j-QyDsmevwVfQTn29hrjjN-G3lOvXm3o&e= >> >> Cookies and databases from those sites will be reloaded even if you don't >> visit them.
