I ran home, both the external TimeMachine drives had the Excel file through last night, all I lost was today’s work.
I wonder if I had the TimeMachine drives plugged into the MacBook if the file would have been wiped them from them as well? If the USB drive had been plugged in would it also have had the file deleted? I know from now on, I”ll not have any external drive connected while using Excel, I’ll wait until done before connecting and doing a backup. Lesson learned.
