Apple doesn’t let programs that use Java into the App Store. Some of the
database routines in NeoOffice use Java and they’ve been removed or replaced. I
think there are some other minor differences with the Open dialog box because
of the restrictive permissions Apple requires for the App Store.

I read a note about this when they first went into the App Store and none of it
seemed to be a big deal to anyone not talking to SQL database servers.
