Last year Fiber was strung down our road, I had stopped and talked to the linemen twice and they said it would be connected to the homes by the end of last year…
This past week I upgraded the U-Verse line to the house to increase the speed…had to have a new modem…. While here I kept asking the tech about WHEN will the fiber be connected…he climbed the pole at the end of the road, came back to tell me it’s not their Fiber….it looked like fiber a private firm would use…there is a large Toyota plant a couple miles from here, most likely it’s to their plant… A supervisor showed up to help the Tech set the modem to Bridge mode, and both of them said most likely there won’t be fiber due to 5g now being the latest rage….so what is that going to cost if it’s sucking in cellular all day?
