It does not check for Xml file validity by default. You can turn that by
setting a boolean in your Application.cfc. Check the wiki for the bootstrapper
options.

Subject: [Mach-II] Error message when a non-supported node is used

Hey guys.

Using the 1.8 BER, I first came across this when I misspelled a config
node. Instead of telling me there is something wrong with my configure
file, it threw an error saying "The value returned from the getLog
function is not of type MachII.logging.Log."

I also verified that any random node in the config file will throw the
same error, like <food></food>.

Does the framework not check the configure file for errors?
