Would you mind sending me the steps that you took to apply the patch?
I haven't been able to find the instructions other then to "apply patch" i probably just am glossing over it but figured the community would help.

Thanks

Nathan

Okay, I got it working now. I got to the Skeleton Installation
Success Page.

I have been away from ColdFusion for about a year and now jumping back
in. My ignorance was killing me. I did not know (or forgot) how to
properly apply a hotfix (aka update). I was just copying the jar file
into the cfusion/lib directory.

Second, I was not sure if I was following the correct steps to clear
the cache.

I'm glad I got a little success with this so far.

Thanks for your patiences.

It's listed in the comments on the ticket, but use the attached hotfix
by installing it in the CFIDE on the server information page. It's the
blue (I) icon on the top right of the CFIDE.  You install the hotfix by
using the Update File field on this page.  Be sure to clear the template
cache (caching page in CFIDE) and then restart the server when you are
finished.  Clearing the template cache is very important or you will get
this exception again when you restart the server.

If you are on a *nix system, please be sure that the jar file has the
correct permissions for CF to read and execute it.

Is this the correct directory to put the fix in?
.
C:/JRun4/servers/cfusion/cfusion-ear/cfusion-war/WEB-INF/cfusion/
lib/
.

I presume the file is located here:

I'd install the hotfix then as indicated on the ticket.  I'm on the beta
at the moment, but the public builds might be lagging in rolling in the
hotfix.

I just downloaded CF9 yesterday and installed.  I'm getting the error:

Unable to find a constructor for class java.math.BigInteger that
accepts parameters of type ( java.lang.Double ).

I'm running ColdFusion 9,0,0,241018.

If this is the latest build, what could I be missing?  Hmm.

The latest public builds have rolled in the temporary hotfix into the
build I believe.  Are you having problems running Mach-II on the latest
version of CF9?

According the the ticket at:
http://greatbiztoolsllc.trac.cvsdude.com/mach-ii/ticket/348

One of the items says, "Did you verify you were at the ht900-78588
hotfix level on the server info page in the CFIDE after restarted
CF9?"

Where can I find this information in the ColdFusion Administrator?
Would it be located under  --> SERVER SETTINGS --> Settings Summary

The only place I see any reference to the ht900-78588 hotfix is in the
"CF Server Java Class Path":
...
C:/JRun4/servers/cfusion/cfusion-ear/cfusion-war/WEB-INF/cfusion/lib/
hf900-78588.jar;
...

My ColdFusion Version is at: 9,0,0,241018

Thanks,
