We'd love to improve the dashboard for everybody so your constructive
suggestions about the dashboard are welcome. I hope you do find the
time to donate back to the project. Everybody on Team Mach-II is
grateful for time spent on improving the framework.

<soapbox>
The dashboard is probably the easiest place for any developer working
with Mach-II to help out and donate time for improvements and new
features. The reason why it is easy is because the dashboard is an
application. Not abstract handling / parsing code like the core part of
the framework is. A lot less time spent familiarizing yourself if the
code base.

So if you are the fence about contributing, don't be scared -- decide to
help out and give us a shout. Somebody from the team can help you find
things, give advice, help architect new features and look over
contributions. If you want to become a better programmer, contributing
to open source is the best thing you can do for your career. You'll
never have a job where you have this many eyes and points of view
looking over code to make it the best it can be. Personally, I've
learned more from open source contributions than anywhere else because
you never get feedback like this. You also learn to not feel bad if
somebody ripes your code apart -- the learning is what counts and it's
part of the process.

We don't bite. Become a contributor today; not tomorrow because there is
always another tomorrow and another and another leading you down to be
an open source procrastinator. ;-)
