This is probably more of an IIS question, but since it's a Mach-II site
(and you guys are really smart) I figured I would start here.

A little background: We're in the early planning stages of rewriting our
entire web platform, and we'll be rebuilding several sites from the ground
up and are probably going to go with Mach-II as our framework. In a recent
meeting with management, the point was made that we need to try to keep our
existing URL structure in place for SEO. (site.com/login.cfm,
site.com/cart.cfm, etc...) I told them that when building a site on top of
a framework this may not be an option, but we could certainly provide a
similar (better?) URL structure that was easily readable, and then handle
the SEO issue through redirects at the web server level.

All that to say, a basic URL in a Mach-II site is
"site.com/index.cfm?event=cart". Is it possible to have that URL be
something like "site.com/cart", or would we have to go with
"site.com/event/cart"? I've never really fooled with URL rewrites before,
so I'm not sure of the capabilities, but I'm pretty sure it can be done. I
was just wondering if Mach-II would be able to work with a URL structure
like "site.com/cart".

BTW, we're wanting to hire a couple of Sr. ColdFusion Developers. These
positions are full-time, onsite, in downtown Nashville, TN. If anyone is
interested just let me know and I"ll send you a full job description with
contact info.

Thanks,

Eric Cobb
