In older versions of DW, you had to add the DTD to some configuration /
settings setup for DW.  I'm unfamiliar with DW these days.  It's
probably bean at least 8 years or more since I owned a copy.

Originally, my mach-ii.xml file did not contain any DOCTYPE tag.
      So I added one.

      This one:

      <!DOCTYPE mach-ii PUBLIC
      "-//Mach-II//DTD Mach-II Configuration 1.8.0//EN"

which I believe is the same as what you provided.

      Still didn't work.

your xml doctype to pointing to the right DTD: <!DOCTYPE mach-ii

Are you sure that your xml doctype to pointing to the right DTD:

      <!DOCTYPE mach-ii PUBLIC
          "-//Mach-II//DTD Mach-II Configuration 1.8.0//EN"

      Should look something like this...

Ed Szwedo said the following on 08/24/2012 03:17 PM:

So I was just reading about inner beans and wondered why I
had never come across them before.

Maybe because the inner-bean tag does not show up in
            Dreamweaver CS 5.5 code hinting.

Speaking of missing hints, the only two attributes that show
up for the event-bean tag are name and type.

I'm looking at the DTD that came with our mach-ii 1.8 and I
see that event bean has more attributes, like 'fields'.

I also see the entry for inner-bean:

            <!ELEMENT inner-bean (field|inner-bean)*>
            <!ATTLIST inner-bean
            name CDATA #REQUIRED
            fields CDATA #IMPLIED
            prefix CDATA #IMPLIED
            >

So what am I doing wrong?

            Thanks.
