I certainly agree with the sentiment above.  However, I certainly hope that 
whoever implemented the TCL HAL bindings at least used the "scriptmode" option. 
 That mode generates simpler, easier-to-parse output, and Michael as well as 
others have gone to some lengths to ensure that the scriptmode output is 
consistent even when interactive output changes.
