Hello, i am using a cramps board and have a problem running my encoded spindle, it looks like the impulses of the Encoder pin B are not being recognized (also when i switch the physical pins A and B on the cramps board, so it has nothing to do with the encoder).
Here are my connections: Pin A (Encoder) goes into SCK on the Cramps board (P9.31 on the Beaglebone and set to input) and on the Beaglebone header on the backside i have soldered it to P9.42 (also input), and P9.92 is set to either Pruin/QEP Pin B (Encoder) goes into MOSI on the Cramps board (P9.30 on the Beaglebone and set to input) and on the Beaglebone header on the backside i have soldered it to P9.27 (also input) Pin Z/index (Encoder) goes into SPI_SC0 on the Cramps board (P9.28 on the Beaglebone and set to input) and on the Beaglebone header on the backside i have soldered it to P9.41 (also input), and P9.91 is set to either Pruin/QEP when i use halscope, i can see the counts on pin P9.30 but not P9.27 (P9.30 is soldered to P9.27) i also checked the connection with a multimeter btw recently i turned the beaglebone/cramps board combination at 90° on the side to look for something while it was on and then BAM, it just switched off, wont turn on again and even when i plugged all the power out and in again it would not start (did not even light the 4 blue leds on the board), my pc did not recognize the beaglebone properly and i had to manually install the drivers and then it magically worked again. Nothing shorted anything on the board because atm it sits on a towel. i hope someone can help me -- website: http://www.machinekit.io blog: http://blog.machinekit.io github: https://github.com/machinekit --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Machinekit" group.
