A lot of what it uses, does not exist in Machinekit because it is done differently (or not at all). I can see that there is a lot of change in added functions regards enqueued reads etc. which is undoubtedly the improvement in timeout errors. It is a quite specialised area and even if I attempted the addition of new code and got it to build, I don't have a 7i92. Without that would be unable to even load the driver to run basic tests.
