Hi Chris Thanks for replying,
Although is was looking for a simple single board that could both run machinekit as well as the motor/servo drives with some power components, this might be a more long term solution. Already seen the motor/driver packages Clearpath etc, universal drives like Granite devices etc. And also been looking into the DieBieSlave ethercat board with onboard STM32F, and Achim Döbler's STM32-based ultimate 3-Phase Motor Controller As some examples that could make a nice ethercat based drive if encoders and some features are added. These approaches would all mean more hardware in total and probably also more cost. Besides still needing a separate machine to run machinekit. Only thing i don't want to do is use this setup as dumb close loop stepper without feedback. -- website: http://www.machinekit.io blog: http://blog.machinekit.io github: https://github.com/machinekit --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Machinekit" group.
