There is a single mention of linuxcnc, no details of any driver etc on
the page you linked to.
The bottom line is that if you can control the pnp machine through
gcode, you can use machinekit
in exactly the same way as you could use linuxcnc.
For some reason you don't want to go along the recommended and supported
openpnp route of using a smoothie board,
I suspect the only reason you want to use machinekit is because you want
to use a BBB.
They are not cheap, (twice the price of a chinese knock off
smoothieboard) are difficult to set up for a beginner
and you will be on your own getting it to work with pnp, unless someone
else chimes in to say they are already doing it.
I would suggest you go onto the linuxcnc forum and try to get a working
configuration from one of the people
using it for pick and place (there were some last I knew) as a starting
point and worry about getting it to run satisfactorily on a PC first,
before buying hardware and then trying to engineer a solution to fit the
hardware.
