I was unaware that you posted here. Try this idea and please let me know if 
it works:

sudo /sbin/route add default gw 192.168.7.1
echo -e "nameserver 8.8.8.8\nnameserver 1.1.1.1" | sudo tee -a /etc/resolv.conf 
>/dev/null
