I have used the described instructions at https://machinekoder.com/machinekit-debian-stretch-beaglebone-black/ and successfully gotten a networked Debian Stretch with RT-Preempt kernel running.
I erased the original 2013 image that had a nice GUI so not sure where to add packages to get back the interface including the wallpaper that I used to be familiar with. HDMI output has just a command line login and not the full GUI I used to get. Is there a window manager configured as I see the /etc/X11 directory exists but not sure what starts the windows session ? I used the old 2013 and tried to get Stretch running but it never was quite working so started over. I had x11vnc capability. -- website: http://www.machinekit.io blog: http://blog.machinekit.io github: https://github.com/machinekit --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Machinekit" group.
