This looks like it is going to happen, probably in the next few months. I know I've read of specific issues related to overlays where it becomes necessary to define the board manually, but I'm not sure if this is still the case.
The plan is of course to use the PRU for step/PWM like it is done for the BBB and friends. Any insight the community may have into that or other specific roadblocks I may experience along the way here would be appreciated. One other specific issue I can think of is what would be a good single pin to use for an 'enable' line that doesn't flip-flop during boot before the rest of the pins get assigned.
