I can't seem to configure P8.46 as an output. I've tried P8.40 up to P8.45 
and they seem to be fine but using P8.46 I don't get an output signal.
Is there anything special about this pin?

for testing I use halrun:

halcmd: newthread servo nofp 100000000
halcmd: loadrt hal_bb_gpio output_pins=845,842,844,846
halcmd: addf bb_gpio.read servo
halcmd: addf bb_gpio.write servo
halcmd: start
halcmd: setp bb_gpio.p8.out-46 1
halcmd: setp bb_gpio.p8.out-44 1
halcmd: setp bb_gpio.p8.out-42 1
halcmd: setp bb_gpio.p8.out-45 1

I don't _have_ to use P8.46, mostly just trying to understand.
