I looked at an output of decompilation of Acorn software and what I have seen is bunch of .NET CIL code and WIN32 API. Also, what is flashed on the BBG looked pretty small. Machinekit-HAL uses Linux userspace real-time threads/tasks. I did not think it would fit. The Windows side didn't look like anything Machinekit-like I have seen. Then, by their website, the Centroid started in 1979, before the Enhanced Machine Controller project. So I again assumed, that the Centroid Acorn is direct evolvement of their own work.
