I am encoutering some sites whereas a download (usually from a PHP based
download system) does not pass the proper filename along to IE - instead of
grabbing a file like 'somefile.tar.gz', I just get 'download.php' (the name
of the executing script.
Just to make sure that the filename DOES get passed along, I tried the same
with Netscape Navigator, and it properly displayed and passed along the
filename.
So, what's going on here, and what can I do to compensate for what seems to
be a problem with IE?
