I have a .html file on an ASIP volume (served by Win2k Server).
That file has a <script> block with a src attribute which references a non-existent
file:
<script type="text/javascript" language="Javascript" src="nosuchfile.js">
When I attempt to load this file directly off the server (via the file:/// protocol)
IE hangs indefinitely attempting to get information for the missing .js file. This
problem does not occur if I copy the file to my desktop and attempt to load it, and it
does not occur if I delete the offending HTML code.
