Save yourself a lot of grief and use FoolProof by SmartStuff.

You'll have to spend a bit more (they have lab packs of 10, 30 and 
site) but in the
long haul your end users will be happy with you, and you'll spend 
less time with
them. Best to set-up a Server running AppleShare IP, rather then 
saving locally to
each iMac.
Be thankful that you didn't get into MacManager.  Nice concept, but who needs
to have the preferences follow the user. All the tweaking needed to make the
software and peripherals run with MacManager is sickening. AtEase was so
simple, so easy to administer, so great for education.
MacManager was one of the reasons our School Division has decided to switch
platforms. Who would have thought a piece of software, not the computer itself,
would be the fate of the machines.
So save your choice of platforms and a whole bunch of disgruntled users on your
back by using another piece of security software.
