All Apple IIE power supplies were exactly alike, except the newer ones were aluminum colored. So, if the IIGS uses the same Power Supply, they are interchangeable. I could go upstairs and check on it, but it wouldn't surprise a bit that they are inter-changeable. I have dozens of them in the garage, and the newer ones seemed to fail more than the old ones. But, ... for me, it makes little difference, since I have many. Of course the C+ and the C uses different PSs.
