Lesley and David, What great and happy news!!! You've got such a great wealth of knowledge to fall back on in your family. Enjoy the changes that only a FIRST pregnancy can bring to your life...You get to be the CENTER of attention, you can GAIN WEIGHT and not care, and you begin the life long challenge and joy of being a parent. Janine, Since you said it first, I was appalled by the things I read on the Prom subject, and could not believe that they could come from a family that I have only ever known to be the most loving and accepting people. We obviously all have our own opinions, but you Fathers of sons should be more open to the possibility that the very scenario you mock could very well touch your life in the future. And I'm not saying your sons will be homosexual I'm saying it could be his best friend or in his school too, while we see ourselves as grown-ups, you're parents first, and my boys are taught tolerance if not acceptance, regardless of what I find right or wrong.
