This is a first.
First of all. I'm actually originating an email
all by myself and not just answering or responding to an email from someone
else.
Let's see now. This week's news was
interesting.
Our Defence Minister has told us our army guys are
going to come home from Afghanistan. No one is available to replace
them.
I think they just ran out of bullets.
ha.
Out Federal Parliament is struggling with a proposed
bill that would give animals, (that's ALL animals) the same rights as
humans.
Can you believe it. I just wonder how the
pigs are going to argue discrimination in front of a panel of gay judges known
as the
Supreme Court of Canada. There probably will be
lots of squealing about whatever decision is rendered.
The farmers in Canada are going to be subsidized by
the Federal Government to the tune of, (get this) one point three BILLION
Dollars so that they can stay on their farms and
continue to grow cash crops like "tobacco" etc. Noice
eh???? (a newfie expression)
Oh yeah! The people responsible for our Federal
Gun Control Legislation, are worried because those of us who own guns are
stupid.
We have managed to overload them with our
registrations at an error rate of 132%. Yet they complain,
that only an estimated 20%
of the gun owners have actually registered
firearms.
WOW! And it has only cost us taxpayers(Federal
Government) $879,000,000.(eight hundred and seventy nine million
dollars)
Just think of the number of books and/or computers
that would have put in our schools and universities.
And finally::
On Tonight's news. There was another
outbreak of ecoli poisoning in Walkerton. But Government Officials
were quick to say
that it is not serious. ONLY 4 children have
become sick, stricken, poisoned, ill, inflicted or contaminated. Officials
claim they
have it contained. They are blaming a baby
sitter as the cause.
I simply think it is BULLSHIT.

How about the law to give animals the same rights as
humans?
If you agree, who do you propose should argue the
case on behalf of the animals? I just don't think they can do it on their
own yet.
